Heath was an operational K-9 handler with Mid-Atlantic D.O.G.S. from May 2004 to 2009 with Kane, a German Shepherd Dog.  Heath is now training Indy, a female German Shepherd Dog.

Heath lives in Rockville, Maryland with his wife, Karin.
